One thing I have learned about needle felting is that sometimes the wool makes the decision about what it want to be. For example, when making the little ‘critters,’ I usually have an idea of what I want it to end up looking like. However, it doesn’t always happen that way.
This adorable girl dragon started out with the intent of being a cat. By the time I was done, she had turned into a substantially larger creature and was most definitely not a cat. With pink toenails and purple and pink markings, she also needed to have curly eyelashes. Although I tried different methods with wool fibers, none of them worked too well, so I bought a pair of fake eyelashes and needled them in. Perfect!
This cute bear decided he wanted to be a silly bear.
