I will be teaching four fall classes at Fancy Tiger Crafts in Denver -(59 Broadway, Denver 80209). All are using the technique of wet felting.
Two will be Wet Felting 101: Cobweb Scarf , one on Sunday, October 30 from 1-4 p.m. and the other on Saturday November 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cobweb felting creates a very light-weight, sheer scarf from a merino/silk blend that you purchase at Fancy Tiger. It requires 2-3 ounces of wool. The cost will be $35 plus the cost of your wool.
The other two classes are Wet Felting 201: Landscape. Each class is designed to teach the fundamentals of “painting” a landscape/dreamscape using wool and other fibers. Each class will cover the aspects of using different fibers, wet felting techniques, how to create dimension in your wool painting, and how to add details using felting needles. As these two classes are 4 1/2 hours each, please bring water and a snack if you feel like you might need extra energy. You will need 1-3 ounces of different colors of wool for the background colors. Other supplemental colors and fibers will be provided. Cost will be $50 and each one will be held from 1:00 – 5:30 p.m. – October 2 and November 13.
Please go to www.fancytigercrafts.com to register for one or both of the classes.
